Cool thriller news!

I've just been invited to join a fantastically cool group of authors for a joint venture - The Mystery Chicks - and I'll post news of that soon, too. Swamped today, but here's a pic of me at the RT convention with terrific mystery authors Harley Jane Kozak and Susan McBride. We had an interesting discussion about our waiter, who was clearly an ex-felon in the Witness Protection Program. "There is NO COFFEE FOR YOU. All coffee THE SAME. You DRINK COFFEE NOW."
